UTILIZACIÓN DE LA ESCALA BEAUFORT EN LA DETERMINACIÓN DEL POTENCIAL EÓLICO

Abstract

Se presenta una metodología para la conversión de valores de velocidad en la Escala Beaufort hacia
una escala de velocidades (en m/s), de modo de utilizar amplias bases de datos existentes en la
Escala Beaufort, para el trabajo inicial de la determinación del potencial eólico de una región.

A methodology is presented for the conversion of speed values in the Beaufort Scale toward a
scale of speeds (in m/s), in way of using wide existent databases in the Scale Beaufor Scale, for
the initial work of the determination of the wind potential of a region.
