Desempeño de inversores multinivel para energías renovables, una alternativa a la generación distribuida en México
Performance of multilevel investors for renewable energies, an alternative to distributed generation in Mexico
Abstract
At present, the use of electrical generation systems through alternative energy sources is continuously increasing, due to the increase in energy demand, reducing CO2 emissions. In this work, a multilevel single-phase inverter prototype for photovoltaic applications was developed, using the H-bridge topology in cascade with independent direct current sources. Applying the Selective Harmonic Elimination (SHE) technique to determine the appropriate switching angles for the control of a multilevel inverter with low total harmonic distortion (THD). In the conditions of the state of Zacatecas, the main alternative sources of electricity generation are solar energy and wind energy, through the use of power electronic devices with DC/AC inverters (direct current - alternating current), for sources of electricity generation of small, medium and high power, that meet the efficiency, quality and safety requirements established by the Federal Electricity Commission (CFE).
