Pedagogical model for the formation of research competence in the student of Electrical Engineering
Abstract
The quality in the training of engineering professionals constitutes one of the key factors for the achievement of the technological and economic independence of nations. In this sense, the formation of investigative competence plays a fundamental role. The objective of the present research is to develop a pedagogical model for the formation of research competence in Electrical Engineering students, as a theoretical basis for a pedagogical strategy that achieves the transformation of the research performance of students. The structural and conceptual description of the research competence was carried out, which consists of its identification and the determination of the contextual problems it addresses, the performance indicators or criteria, and the evidences. A pedagogical model consisting of three subsystems was developed. The dialectical relationships that are established between them lead to a new quality of the training process: formative suitability of the research competence.
