Abstract

The study of the behavior of a power plant boiler in a complex régime, outside of design, was carried out in this work. Since, it takes the advantage of an external source of dry saturated steam. This steam will be super heated in the super heating system of the boiler. The analysis was based on the adaptation of the Normative Thermal Calculation Model in which there is experience. Checking the results of the adjusted model with the stipulated load regimes, the complex regime was calculated for the maximum and minimum loads of the turbine and varying the use of external steam from 20% to 5%, with intervals of 5%, the replacement of the main steam to the turbine. Resulting in that the fuel consumption of the boiler is always lower in complex regime, than the consumption working normally.
