Aplicación de la técnica del barrido de frecuencia, en el diagnóstico de los devanados de dos autotransformadores de potencia
Application of sweep frequency technique in the diagnosis of windings of two power autotransformers
Abstract
The application of swept frequency response analysis (SFRA) as a fault diagnosis tool in two autotransformers of a substation is described. Unlike power transformers, autotransformers have, in each phase of the high voltage winding, a series coil and a common coil, which must be tested separately in order to discriminate the state of each of them. The results obtained using the open circuit admittance configuration and sweeping from the frequency of 10 Hz to 1000 kHz are shown. Comparisons of the transference response functions were made between phases of the same autotransformer and the statistical method of Correlation Coefficients was applied to analyze the results. It was found that the occurrence of several short circuit events and poor operations, caused modifications in the geometry of the windings of both devices.
