Abstract

This work aims to offer a brief timeline of the methods used to evaluate quality as a process and service, the evaluation of the quality of electrical energy in Cuba and the world and what are the background and international events that allowed its evolution. The study is descriptive, correlational and with a qualitative approach, the design was non-experimental (cross-sectional); The bibliographic review of the specialized literature was of 3,158 scientific articles and 491 doctoral theses, all related to the research topic, showing that there is a significant relationship worldwide with the criteria to be taken into account to evaluate the quality of electrical energy. , although there is no consensus on the calculation method to evaluate it, since the existing ones are based on satisfaction surveys, weighting methods and expert criteria.
