Interfaz Gráfica para el análisis de pérdidas en el diseño de máquinas eléctricas
Graphical Interface for Loss Analysis in Electrical Machine Design
Abstract
This study presents an interactive computational tool developed in MATLAB for analyzing iron losses in electrical machines, with a focus on the specific calculation of stator tooth losses. A dual-term model was implemented, accounting for both hysteresis and eddy current losses, calibrated using data from M210-27A steel. The interface allows users to input geometric, electrical, and material parameters; compute specific and total losses; visualize results through dynamic tables and graphs; and export technical reports in PDF format. The results confirm the quadratic dependence of losses on magnetic flux density and frequency, with eddy current losses becoming dominant at higher frequencies. This tool is valuable for both preliminary electrical machine design and educational environments, enabling rapid and traceable parametric analyses. Model validation and graphical results demonstrate the precision and applicability of the proposed solution.
