Abstract

The Cuban Electric Corporation requires a change in the organizational paradigm to achieve a high penetration of renewable energy sources, based on the change of the  energy  paradigm  in  the  country,  in  order  to  face  2030  Agenda.  This  implieschanges in technology, structure and people, moreover,its create the need for this organization to develop an intense process for the organizational learning; this process is subsumed in themanagement of technological innovation. The recently International  experiences and  business  practices have focused mainly on the study  of  the  dimensions/factors  that  constitute  the  organizational  learning, with emphasis on organizational and socio-psychological factors. In the work, the dimensions of organizational learning in the Unión Eléctrica were determined with the Dimensions in Learning Organizations questionnaire, appropriate and validated in the Cuban context by Quesada et al. (2018); and adapted by the authors. As a result, the existing gaps were determined and it is proposed improvements to raise the capacity forself-learning and assimilating the new technologies acquired.
